Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PromptOT, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform. If you are using PromptOT on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
Description of Service
PromptOT is a prompt management platform that enables developers and teams to create, version, evaluate, and deliver LLM system prompts via API. The platform includes a web dashboard for prompt composition and management, a public API for prompt delivery, and tools for prompt evaluation and optimization.
Account Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, including passwords, API keys, and authentication tokens.
- Each account is intended for use by a single individual. Sharing account credentials is prohibited.
- You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use PromptOT for any of the following:
- Storing or distributing illegal, harmful, or offensive content through prompts or any other platform feature.
- Abusing the API through excessive requests, intentional overloading, or any activity designed to degrade service performance.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the platform or any part of its infrastructure.
- Scraping, crawling, or automated data collection from the platform without explicit written permission.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, data, or organization resources.
Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of the prompts, content, and data you create and store on PromptOT. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. PromptOT and its associated trademarks, logos, source code, design, and documentation are owned by PromptOT and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform in accordance with these terms.
API Usage
- API access is subject to rate limits as documented in our API reference. We may adjust rate limits at our discretion to ensure fair usage.
- You agree to use the API in accordance with our fair use policy and not to exceed reasonable usage patterns.
- Reselling, redistributing, or sublicensing API access to third parties is prohibited without prior written consent.
- We reserve the right to suspend or revoke API keys that violate these terms or our acceptable use policy.
Service Availability
We use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain platform availability and performance. However, we do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, infrastructure updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavor to provide advance notice of planned maintenance windows when possible.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PromptOT and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. Our total aggregate liability for any claims relating to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may close your account through the platform settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, you will have a 30-day window to export your data. After this period, we will delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of PromptOT after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
